Who we are
Magic Valley Slab Co. lifts and levels concrete in Twin Falls and the towns around it. That’s the whole business. We don’t pour new driveways or sell demolition. We look at concrete that has sunk, tipped or gone hollow, tell you whether it can be lifted, and if it can, we lift it with polyurethane foam and leave the area clean.
Why we do it this way
A lot of concrete gets torn out that didn’t need to be. A driveway panel drops at the garage, someone quotes a replacement, and a slab that was still in one piece ends up in a dumpster. Sometimes that’s the right call. Often it isn’t.
Our approach comes from a simple idea: before you tear it out, find out if it can be lifted. A sunken slab is not automatically a failed slab. When the concrete is still sound, lifting it back into place is usually faster, less disruptive and less expensive than starting over, and you keep the concrete that matches the rest of your property.
What we believe
Tell it straight
The evaluation is free, and you get a straight answer. If your concrete is a good candidate for lifting, we’ll explain what we’d do and what’s driving the price. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you that too, even though it means we won’t be doing the work. We’d rather lose a job than lift something that won’t hold up.
Keep it simple
You shouldn’t have to research repair methods before calling someone about a sunken sidewalk. The only question that matters is whether your concrete can be lifted or needs to be replaced. We use one method, polyurethane foam lifting, and we focus on doing it well.
Fix the cause as well as the slab
Concrete sinks because the soil under it moved, and water is usually why. We’ll point out the downspout, the sprinkler head or the gap along the house that started it, so the lift holds.
Treat the property with care
We work from the top of the slab through small holes. There’s no digging along your edges and no heavy equipment across the lawn in a normal lift. When we’re done, the ports are patched and the work area is power washed.
We finish with a wash down
Every completed job ends with free power washing of the work area. It’s a small step, but it’s the difference between a repair and a finished job. You walk out to a slab that’s level, supported and clean.
How a job goes
- Look. A free evaluation of the concrete, with a straight answer.
- Lift. Small holes, foam injected under the slab to fill the voids.
- Level. The slab raised back in line with the concrete around it.
- Wash down. Ports patched and the area power washed.
